Kroger has said it will close its pharmacy in Lincoln, Nebraska, in 2019, as it tries to boost profits from its discount pharmacy business.
The chain will be replaced by a new one in 2019 and the new Kroger in 2021, Kroger said in a statement.
Kroger is the fourth US supermarket to close a pharmacy in the last six months.
The chain closed its Walgreen’s branch in New York City in January.
