The nurse who worked in the Phoenix, Arizona, pharmacy where she worked was diagnosed with terminal cancer and is on her way to a nursing home.
But she’s determined to make her patients happy by providing a good quality of life.
“I just want to help my patients and get the best care,” she told ABC News.
“And I feel like if I can help my patient, it means so much.”
The nurse, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told ABC that her cancer is not terminal, but she’s already exhausted her time with patients.
She said she’s also worried about patients’ health and what it might mean for their insurance coverage.
“If I don’t help them, I’ll be gone,” she said.
“So I just want it to be right.
I’m really focused on my patients.”
