President Donald Trump said Wednesday he would not wait for the Supreme Court to declare a nationwide health care law to take effect.
Trump said the Supreme “will do it.”
He also said he believes the government will take care of its own, even if it costs more.
Trump made his remarks during a speech in Pennsylvania.
The Supreme Court will rule on the Affordable Care Act this month.
Trump also said the government should continue to pay doctors and hospitals for the care they provide to their patients.
He also reiterated his vow to repeal and replace Obamacare, saying that’s what Americans want.
The president made the comments during a town hall event in his hometown of Marietta, Georgia.
