CVS Pharmacy app users have some great news.
As of now, they don’t have to pay to download it, which could be a good thing for the app.
CVS CEO Matt Smith made the announcement during a keynote on Tuesday.
Users can get the app for free and then subscribe to be notified when new releases come out.
“We don’t want to be too aggressive,” Smith said, “but it’s very much a paid app.”
Smith also said the app has the “best selection of medications for you” and that he hopes it continues to grow.
He also announced that the company will be releasing a monthly update with new and improved features, including new pricing models, new pharmacy maps and improved pharmacy pricing options.
Smith said the company is “really excited” to be able to expand to more cities.
